This product (packaged in a canister) has an ingredients list that seems to be virtually identical to the product packaged in a bag, with the exception of “natural flavors”. (The ingredients list on the canister’s Amazon page was different than the list on the canister that I received.) The product in a canister seems to have a stronger, “sharper” flavor that I personally enjoy; it seems to have that pleasant slight bitterness like good coffee. The product in the bag has less of a coffee flavor and more like white chocolate cocoa powder or a milkshake mix. The difference in flavor is pretty significant, and customers who are used to the flavor of one version are likely to be disappointed by the other.These differences have been consistent for me with a bag and canister purchased at Walmart as well as with a bag and canister purchased from Amazon. I can’t tell from the reviews if the different versions are consistently packaged in their respective container.UPDATE (2/24/2019) I purchased this product in a bag (from a different Amazon listing) on 2/18, and the Keto Coffee in this bag seems identical to what was in my last two canisters (and different from what was in my last two bags from Walmart and Amazon). Now I have to conclude that the packaging doesn’t necessarily indicate which version is inside. Interestingly, the ingredients list on this bag doesn’t include “natural flavors” like my previous canisters did, and I had speculated that those flavors were what made this version taste different. I personally enjoy the stronger (maybe newer?) flavor, but I can see why customers who were used to the old version would be disappointed, especially when there seems to be added confusion about which version is actually being purchased.
